Jackson County Drug Court and Family Wellness Center, along with artist Sonya Clemons, announce the third annual Pictures of Hope art show to be held Sunday, Nov. 17, from 12-4 p.m., at Payne’s Sandwich Shop and Soda Fountain.

Pictures of Hope is an art program created to benefit the recovery community in Jackson County.

“I am honored to play a part in Pictures of Hope and provide a creative outlet for members of our community,” said Clemons.

Clemons is a 23-year self-employed artist who devotes most of her time to be a muralist for North Alabama schools.

She currently provides artwork to 14 stores and offers commissions to the public. Clemons has a passion for teaching art and inspires creative expression in others.

The Jackson County community is invited to come join the celebration of young artists.
