Members of the junior class at North Jackson High School will have an opportunity this week to work toward improving their ACT score.

Assistant Principal Ashley Lee announced that an ACT Boot Camp will be conducted to help these students.

The camp will be conducted during normal school hours on March 4-6. This is for all juniors to help them improve their score on this test.

Lee said, “Teachers have designed a curriculum based on our previous data to help you (juniors) get a better score.”

Students who get higher scores on the ACT test have a better chance of obtaining college scholarships.  This is the school’s way of helping their students with the latest test taking skills, new methods to use on the test, and giving them a confidence boost.
