If you need help getting into the Christmas spirit this year, take a ride to Section High School.  SHS teacher Susan Stockman and her seniors got things going with the third annual Senior Christmas Village this week.

The school hallways are full of beautifully decorated trees, and all the classroom doors are decorated in a vast array of holiday themes.

The seniors had a blast as they were all decked out in various holiday characters.  Santa and Mrs. Claus even made a stop to visit with the students.

If you walked the hallways, you might have met a snowman and even the Grinch.  The seniors were dressed as many familiar seasonal characters.  Santa even got a ride on a reindeer.

This transformation of the hallways of Section High School did not come without a lot of work and planning.

Stockman and her students worked tirelessly for weeks to make sure everything was perfect.

All of the classroom doors were decorated with holiday themes ranging from misfit toys to snowmen.  Just a walk down Candy Cane lane could lift your spirits.

Thanks to community sponsors this event was a huge success.  Different businesses and groups sponsored trees which are placed throughout the school.  These wonderfully decorated trees will be on display through Christmas.

For the last two weeks of school prior to the winter break, students will be smiling as they walk their hallways and see all of the decorations.
