The brackets are set to determine a pair of Jackson County Middle School Basketball Champions.
Hollywood’s girls and Rosalie’s boys are the No. 1 seeds for the 2019 Jackson County Middle School Basketball Tournament, which begins Monday at Dutton School.
The tournament features quarterfinal round games on Monday and Tuesday and semifinal games on Thursday, Dec. 12. The championship games are scheduled for Monday, Dec. 16.
Skyline’s girls and Hollywood’s boys are the defending champions.
In the girls bracket, undefeated Hollywood is the top-seed followed by second-seeded Skyline — both of those teams receive a first-round by because Flat Rock does not have a girls team — third-seeded Rosalie, fourth-seeded Macedonia, fifth-seeded Bryant and sixth-seeded Dutton.
In the boys bracket, top-seeded Rosalie is followed by second-seeded Skyline, third-seeded Flat Rock, fourth-seeded Macedonia, fifth-seeded Hollywood, sixth-seeded Bryant and seventh-seeded Dutton.
