He developed and is the coordinator for the virtual school program in Jackson County. He is a very strong leader and active member in the county.
When asked why he wanted to run for the position of county commission he responded, “I have seen a lot of change in our county in the past forty plus years! My concern about the integrity of our roads and bridges as well as the many needs of the people in this county sparked my decision to run for the Commission. I want to be an active part in bringing positive change to our county.”
He strongly expressed the need to be transparent with the taxpayer money.
“I have learned a lot about where our funds come from and how they are spent,” said McBride.
He has spent a lot of time going out in the county and meeting its people.
“Many have similar concerns. I want to be that voice for the people,” said McBride.
