Dear Editor:

Jenny and myself, along with our nephew Jo Morrison, would like to thank you, the great people of Scottsboro and Jackson County for allowing us to be part of your Habitat for Humanity Chili Challenge, February 24th.  We have been coming for twenty years, but this one we think may have been the best yet! There was such an atmosphere of much love and kindness all day there from the Habitat Board and all the volunteers.  You all always make us feel so welcome and it seems like a family reunion.

Thank you all for making a worthy cause to be so much fun for us.  Jackson County and Scottsboro will always hold a place in our memories. We have been fortunate to win a few times, but always have a smile on our face on the way home because of the great friends we’ve made and know next year we will make others.

See Ya’ll on February, 2019!
