Miss Brooke Nicole Haynes of Madison and Mr. Nathan Brown McCollum of Decatur were married on September 12, 2010 at Huntsville First United Methodist Church.

Miss Brooke Nicole Haynes of Madison and Mr. Nathan Brown McCollum of Decatur were married on September 12, 2010 at Huntsville First United Methodist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Haynes of Section.  Parents of the groom are Dr. and Mrs. Jeffery McCollum of Decatur.

Mr. Jeff Jordan of Indianapolis, In., performed the double ring ceremony.  Music was provided by members of the Huntsville Symphonic Orchestra.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless silky taffeta modified a-line gown designed by ENZOAN1 of Los Angeles.  The gown featured a sweetheart neckline, ruched bodice adorned with Swarovski crystals under the bust and detailing the back of the bodice delicate beading adorned the beginning of the semi cathedral train.

The bride was attended by Britney Haynes of Section as maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Valerie Feathers of Huntsville, Ashleigh Knight of Birmingham, Leah Lamphron of Nashville, Jamie Monk of Atlanta, Bridgett Jones of Ider, Brittany Reed of Fort Payne, Emily Shuttlesworth of Huntsville.   Cheyenne Hardin of Scottsboro was the flower girl.

Jeff McCollum of Decatur served the groom as the best man.  Groomsmen were David Evett of Phil Campbell, Peter Goodwin of Nashville, Blake McNutt of Hartselle, Jeremy McDaniel of Auburn, Lance Routh of Hartselle, Darrell Scott of Clanton, and Jackson Vaughn of Decatur.  Luke Knight was the ring-bearer.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Historic Roundhouse Depot in Huntsville.

After a wedding trip to St. Thomas, the couple will reside in Madison.

Other prenuptial courtesies to the couple were a gift card shower given by Adam and Laura Rogers, Jackson and Sara Vaughn, and Blake and Amanda McNutt.  Dinner at the lake hosted by Paul and Anne Bernauer, Brown and Lydia Nolen, and Mark and Kim Nelson.  A bridal tea was given by Janet Linville, Christy Carson, Joyce Cosby, Brittany Reed, Britney Haynes, Ashleigh Knight and Bridgett Jones.  A lingerie shower was given by Emily Shuttlesworth, Britney Haynes, Valerie Feathers, and Leah Lamphron.  A tool and gadget shower was given by friends and family of the groom.  A tea was given by Kellie Hancock, Charlotte Burns, Margaret Crawford, Melba Crawford, Marla Thomas, Candy Puckett, Brenda Devers, Tammy Cook, Ryan Rice and Mary Ellen Thorton at Broad Street Church of Christ.
