Kelli Ann Coleman and Jon Riggs Bergman were married on April 9 at the First United Methodist Church in Greensboro, Ala. with Pastor Dean Rydbeck and Pastor Roy Hall officiating the 5 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed the ceremony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. R.  Lawson, Jr, aunt of the bride. 

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harris Magruder Coleman, Jr of Sawyerville. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Margie Carpenter Smith of Phenix City and Mrs. Gladys Seale Coleman of Sawyerville and the late Mr. James Fredrick Carpenter, Sr. and the late Mr. Harris Magruder Coleman, Sr.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Wilson Bergman, Sr. of Scottsboro.  He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jeptha Edward Moody, Jr. of Scottsboro, and the late Mrs. Jeanne Jacobs Moody, the late Mr. James Richard Bergman and the late Ms. Sue Wilson Bergman.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.   The bride was attended by her sister, Kristi Coleman of Auburn, as maid of honor; and her cousin, Amy Lawson Cooper of Tuscaloosa, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Quitman Holmes of Greensboro, cousin of the bride;  Leah Avery of Greensboro; Tracy Moore Fondren of Demopolis, Elizabeth Oakes Lambert of Birmingham; Amanda Pate of Birmingham; Suzanne Langford Prewitt of Crestview, FL; Rebecca Quinney Schober of Orrville;  Tanya Simmons Sealy of Marion;  Kimberly Brown Thomas of Sawyerville; Allison Thompson of Auburn; and Laurie Beth Wedgworth of Tuscaloosa.  Flower girls were Mary Coleman Chandler, Reid Cooper and Margaret Cooper, cousins of the bride. 

James Bergman, Sr. father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were James (Will) Bergman, Jr. of Scottsboro and Jacob Bergman of Montgomery, brothers of the groom; Josh Caldwell of Decatur; Mark Chapman of Birmingham; Jacob Guess of Florence; Eric Griffin of Newnan, GA; Traye Hulsey of Auburn; Jonathan Mayer of Atlanta, GA; Drew McNutt of Scottsboro; Greg Pettey of Auburn; Joel Smith of Cody, WY; and Don Webb, Jr. of Scottsboro. Austin Fondren of Demopolis, served as acolyte for the ceremony.

After a trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Scottsboro.
