The Rosalie Junior Civitan Club at Rosalie Elementary School is helping a local church by hosting a food drive through Nov. 20. All food items will be donated to families in the Rosalie community.

If you want to help, you may take your items by the school. You can donate them for a particular class if you happen to know any students or teachers at the school. The class with the most items donated will be rewarded with a pizza party for their generosity.

The Club is accepting food donations such as peanut butter, soups, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, and other nonperishable items. Monetary donations may be given to be used for the  purchase of refrigerated items.

The school just received this request, but they quickly went into action. Any donations of food or money will be greatly appreciated. It’s a way for these students to get involved in helping their community during this holiday season.
