EPCOT Student of the Month

EPCOT student Garrett Palmour is an outstanding drafting student.  He was chosen as the Student of the Month for November. Garrett is a senior and honor student at Woodville High School.

A Jackson County high school student enrolled in the drafting program has been selected as the Student of the Month for November at EPCOT (Earnest Pruett Center of Technology). 

Garrett Palmour was chosen by his teachers for this honor.

Palmour is a senior at Woodville High School.  He is an honor student and member of the Beta Club.

This outstanding drafting student has participated in competitions through EPCOT.

He represented EPCOT in the technical drafting competition at state. Garrett has earned the Solid Edge professional certification.

Palmour says that math is his favorite school subject. 

“It’s my best subject and ties into engineering,” he adds.

This top student will graduate from high school this spring and has plans to attend college.  He will study to become an aerospace engineer.

When this young man has free time, he enjoys playing video games and hanging out with his friends.  He likes to travel. Palmour also does voice impressions.

In addition to his school activities, Palmour has a part-time job. He works at Little Caesars.

Palmour is the son of Charles and Melissa Palmour. His three siblings are Brandon, Erron and Alyah.  David Thompson, Loretta Entwistle, Charles Palmour and Louise Lunsford are his grandparents.

The family has a dog named Annah.
