IMPACT Learning Center and the Jackson County Economic Development Authority will partner to host a job fair on April 4, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., at the Scottsboro Rec*Com.

Numerous local industries, small businesses and other organizations will be on site for interviews, applications and possible on-site job hires.

The job fair is open to the public and to graduating high school seniors.

“We want to give our business and industries different opportunities to hire from Jackson County and to help them with their workforce needs,” said Shelia Shepard, president and CEO of the Jackson County Economic Development Authority.

Computers will be on site if you need help putting together a resume, and there will be a food truck at the event so you can have lunch.

The job fair is a collaborative effort between Northeast Alabama Community College, IMPACT Learning Center, Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce, Jackson County and Scottsboro City schools, First Southern State Bank, the city of Scottsboro and the Jackson County Economic Development Authority.
