Serving more than 20 years, Sue Moore will retire from FNB Bank. Moore, who is the bank’s vice president of marketing, served customers since 1998.

“Sue has been a great asset to the FNB family throughout her career,” said FNB Bank President and CEO Steve Rownd. “She has poured her heart and soul into improving the bank’s marketing and customer service. Even in retirement, I know that she will continue to support FNB Bank and the Scottsboro community.”

Moore’s career at the bank spanned more than two decades. She remembers her involvement in changing the bank’s name from First National Bank and rebranding as FNB Bank as her biggest accomplishment/

“A lot of work and long hours went into that effort, but it is one of my favorite memories,” said Moore.

Moore said she would miss most the daily interactions with customers of the bank.

“It has been a privilege to represent FNB in the community for all these years,” she said.

Moore expressed appreciation for everyone, associates and customers, who supported her over the years.

“When I began working with the bank, FNB had offices in two counties,” said Moore. “Now, FNB has offices in three states. Now it’s time for me open a new chapter in life.”

Moore said she has plans for an active retirement. She will leverage her banking knowledge and provide construction inspections and appraisals for various clients.

Most importantly, she plans to spend more time with her six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A retirement reception is planned at the main branch in Scottsboro, on Broad Street, March 29, from 2-4 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
