Seniors Recognized

This group of Scottsboro High School seniors is smiling for a good reason.  These outstanding students have made all A’s throughout their high school career.  They are Zan Allbert, Chloe Buckner, Patrick Burns, Maddy Childress, Austin Cornelison, Landon Eustace, Kody Gross, Lauren Hamm, Wyatt Hancock, Abby Harrison, Cheyanne Hess, Haley Land, Shelby Latham, Reed Latimer, Katharyn Sanders, Emma Warren, Bradford Womack and Isabel Wynn.

In this year’s Scottsboro High School graduating class there are 18 students who have maintained an all A average during their four years of high school.

These students were among those recognized during the spring STAR (Students and Teachers for Academic Recognition) assembly.

Those outstanding students are Zan Allbert, Chloe Buckner, Patrick Burns, Maddy Childress, Austin Cornelison, Landon Eustace, Kody Gross, Lauren Hamm, Wyatt Hancock, Abby Harrison, Cheyanne Hess, Haley Land, Shelby Latham, Reed Latimer, Katharyn Sanders, Emma Warren, Bradford Womack and Isabel Wynn.  This was the final STAR Assembly for these dedicated students.

This group of seniors has been recognized with a gold card during each STAR assembly since they were freshmen.

In addition to the gold card presented to them during their final assembly, these seniors received a gray STAR t-shirt and a $50 book grant from the Scottsboro Junior Progress Club.

Many of these students have already received offers of college scholarships.  They will leave Scottsboro High School prepared to succeed in the collegiate community they select or any other avenue they decide to take.

The STAR Program is supported totally through donations from local businesses, civic organizations, and individuals.  A program of this magnitude would not be possible without this community support.

Scottsboro High School would like to thank all of the contributors for making this program possible and encouraging academic excellence at SHS.
