The Scottsboro City Council announced a number of vacancies on several different boards at its meeting last Monday night.
There are vacancies on the Commercial Development Board, the Goose Pond Board, the Downtown Redevelopment Board, and the Museum Commission.
There are two vacancies on the Commercial Development Board. The Commercial Development Board terms are for four years. There is one vacancy on the Goose Pond Board.
The Goose Pond Board term is for six years. There is one opening on the Downtown Redevelopment Board. The opening was caused by a resignation, and the term on the Downtown Redevelopment Board expires in October 2022.
There are two vacancies on the Museum Commission. The terms for the Museum Commission will expire in October 2021.
Anyone interested in any of these openings should apply in writing to the Scottsboro City Clerk’s office by 4:30 p.m. on June 21.
