“Camp Wildcat” freshmen orientation at Scottsboro High School is Thursday, July 25, from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Parents may drop off and pick up students at the back gym entrance of the high school.

“Camp Wildcat” is designed to help incoming freshmen make an easier transition to high school. All first time ninth-graders are encouraged to attend. Students will receive their schedules, meet their Top Cat student mentor and be familiarized with school procedures, activities and the campus.

Lunch is provided at no cost to students by First Baptist Church of Scottsboro and Coca-Cola. If a student does not like pizza, he or she should bring a snack lunch.

There will be a pep rally at 1:30 p.m. Parents are welcome to attend.
