State Sen. Steve Livingston is backing Bradley Byrne in his race for the U.S. Senate. This week, Byrne announced the launch of his Grassroots Leadership Team, becoming the first Senate candidate to release an all 67 county leadership team.

“It is an honor to have so many people from every corner of the state joining us in the fight to bring our Alabama values to the U.S. Senate,” said Byrne. “We are going to win this primary and defeat Doug Jones thanks to this team of homegrown supporters.”

Members of the Grassroots Leadership Team serve as coordinators in their community and help with an assortment of tasks ranging from hosting meet and greets to distributing yard signs.

Byrne selected Livingston to represent Jackson County.

“We need Bradley Byrne in the United States Senate,” said Livingston. “I know Bradley personally and have worked with him many times over the years. We know where Bradley stands on the issues, and we know he is a fighter.”

Livingston said Byrne understands the issues that matter to the people of North Alabama, such as bringing more jobs to the area, stopping illegal immigration and protecting Christian conservative values.

“I know Bradley is the man for the job, and I am proud to support him in this race,” said Livingston.
