A police chase that began in Powell, in DeKalb County, went through Scottsboro and ended in Hollywood resulted in the arrest of a Huntsville man Wednesday evening.
According to authorities, Powell police attempted to stop Jordan Alexander Robinson, 21 of Huntsville, for displaying a switched tag.
Jordan fled from authorities before finally be stopped in the 8,000 block of County Road 33 in Hollywood after his vehicle lost control.
Two officers sustained injuries as a result of the chase. Both were treated and released from Highlands Medical Center.
Robinson has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of drug paraphernalia, attempting to elude and reckless endangerment. Additional charges are pending in DeKalb County.
Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and Hollywood Police Department assisted in the pursuit.
Robinson is currently in the Jackson County Jail on a $8,100 bond.
