A single-vehicle accident late Thursday night claimed the life of an Ider woman.

According to Alabama State Troopers, Shelly L. Terrell, 32, was killed when the 1998 Mitsubishi she was driving left Highway 40, three miles east of Scottsboro, struck a ditch and overturned.

Troopers said Burns was not wearing a seatbelt and ejected. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

State troopers continue to investigate the accident.
