Harry Macon Travis, 87 of Scottsboro, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019.

Harry was the owner and manager of City Auto Parts for 25 years and was a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for many years.

Harry is survived by his daughter, Teresa (Lanny) Chambless-Apsel, as well as his grandchildren, Justin Chambless, Travis (Michaela) Powers and Eric Powers.

He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn Schrunk; his niece, Stephanie (Leo) LoSciuto and his nephew, Jesse (Melva) Schrunk.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Joy Travis; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and David Powers; parents, Ira and Gladys Travis and his brother-in-law, Ray Schrunk.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro with Dr. Robert Gamble officiating. Burial followed in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
