Wilma Dean (Ivey) Arnold, 83, passed on to her heavenly home on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at 2 p.m., at New Life Baptist Church of Crow Mountain with her sons, Jeff Arnold and Greg Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at Austell Cemetery.

Mrs. Arnold is survived by her children, Deborah (Donny) Woodall of Skyline, Patti (Joel) Gray of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Greg Arnold of Ashboro, North Carolina, Tina (Bryan) Vance of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jeff (Celena) Arnold of Skyline and Karen (Anthony) Rossmeier of Scottsboro; grandchildren, Aaron Arnold of Skyline, Nathan (Heather) Arnold of Seattle, Washington, Sheri (Bradley) Collins of Scottsboro, Alyssa Arnold of Spartanburg, North Carolina, Sarah (Ethan) Powell of Angier, North Carolina, Gavin Arnold of Skyline, Gracie Holt of Scottsboro, Brayden Arnold of Skyline and Ivey and Thomas Vance of Chattanooga, Tennessee; siblings, Allie Little of Crow Mountain, Joyce Cunningham of Skyline and Dan Ivey of Crow Mountain and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Arnold; father, Rev. Dan H. Ivey; mother, Rosalee Evett Ivey; brothers, Ronald Ivey, Carter Ivey, Van Ivey and Don Ivey and sisters, Edna Gilliam, Mary Lou Johnson and Nellie Dodson.

“We are all here because of her, and we are better off for knowing her and her love. We’ll miss her but hold fond memories close to our hearts. Our mother and grandmother lives on through us.” Her grandson, Nathan Arnold.
