Douglas Springsteen, 56 of Scottsboro, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020.

Douglas was a 22-year veteran of the Navy, member of the Patriot Guard Riders of Texas, member of the Baptist faith and loved restoring Tonka trucks.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, Feb. 10. 2020, at 2 p.m., at Cedar Hill Cemetery with John Watts officiating. A visitation will be held at Scottsboro Funeral home on Monday, from 12-1:30 p.m.

Mr. Springsteen is survived by his sons, Joseph Springsteen, Jacob Springsteen, Cameron Springsteen and Dallas Whitaker; grandchildren, Tyler Springsteen, Daniel Springsteen, Riley Springsteen, Zeke Gonzalez, Faye Springsteen, Radie Springsteen and Elisha Springsteen; sisters, Kathy (Joe) Watts, Marianne Springsteen, Susan Comer, Sharon (Greg) Ordway and Kimberly (Clay) Pilgrim; brothers, David (Bev) Springsteen, Michael (Mary) Springsteen, Bob (Kathy) Springsteen and Tim Springsteen and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Alex Springsteen; parents, Warren and Mary Ellen Springsteen and brother, Rick Springsteen.
