Dear Editor:

Reading the article in The Daily Sentinel this past week was confusing. The chairman was quoted in the paper as saying that he realizes the road that will be resurfaced is not the worst in the county, but he was starting on it because of matching federal funds.

Forget about matching federal funds for roads that do not need to be resurfaced and use our county tax dollars on roads that need to be repaired.

There should be a master five-year plan for the county roads that is updated every year. This plan should be made available to the public.
