Dear Editor:

Nothing ruins my day like opening your newspaper and seeing Danny Gardner’s face.

I know before I even read it, his column will be offensive. While we are in the minority, many of your readers are Democrats, both moderate and liberal.

One minute Gardner is quoting scripture, and the next he is calling Democrats derogatory names and giving a very twisted version of the truth.

I have no problem with someone having a different opinion, but I do have a problem when it is expressed in a belligerent, disrespectful way, especially using the Bible to try to justify it.

If you are going to give space in your paper for an ultra right wing syndicated columnist, you should provide equal time to more moderate, sane commentators.
