It never gets old talking about our area’s gem, known better at Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC)

Situated on the county lines of Jackson and DeKalb, NACC is a bridge of learning for people of all ages, young and old, to better themselves in life and fulfill dreams.

It’s easy to take things for granted, at times. We live in a beautiful place, where mountains meet the river. At times, it takes a visitor or even stranger to remind us.

The same can go for our beloved college. Recently, NACC was named as one of the nation’s top 150 community colleges by the Aspen Institute, and educational and policy studies organization based in Washington D.C.

While we know how great our college is, it’s always nice to reminded.

The job NACC President Dr. David Campbell and his staff have done through the years, in all aspects, is tremendous. NACC is not only a place to learn and get a degree, but also a community staple in both Jackson and DeKalb counties.
