Dear Editor:

Over the past four years, the public and I have had the opportunity to observe and evaluate our charismatic and courageous State Representative, Tommy Hanes.

Tommy provides honest, pragmatic and hopeful insight to our community’s problems and needs. He examines issues carefully and is willing to listen to our questions and concerns.

These qualities alone set Tommy apart from the crowd. That is why I am supporting Tommy, and I encourage you to do the same.

He is a valuable asset to our community—one we need to keep in Montgomery. I have had the pleasure of working closely with Tommy on a present and serious issue here in Jackson County, the use of bio solids as a land amendment and fertilizer.

I have personally witnessed Tommy fight for the rights of the citizens in this county to let our voices be heard on the use of bio solids through the ballot box.

Tommy has spent countless hours working hard for this county and state on several other key issues as well. He is a major advocate for the very rights that helped form and sustain this nation’s livelihood. Tommy is not a career politician.

He is one of us, and that is why his voice is so valuable to us all. Tommy has spent all of his life serving the public and has been commended and recognized as an outstanding individual.

I hope that you will join me in supporting Tommy in continuing his work for Jackson County and the great state of Alabama. He truly is one of the good ones.

Vote Tommy Hanes, Alabama State Representative District 23 on Tuesday, June 5.
