Helping those in need never gets old or tiring. It warms the heart to see the community involvement doing its part to help those in Texas.

It is an even warmer feeling to see students helping. Students at North Jackson High School, as part of the FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, are partnering with Unclaimed Baggage Center to help those in Southeast Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Students are encouraging the public to join them in providing items such as bottled water, diapers and toiletries.

If you want to help the students at North Jackson, take your donations to the school by Friday during regular school hours.

As the students said, every item makes a difference.
