How do I log in?
You can click on the login from the box at the top right. Once your login box opens, simply enter your email address or username and password, hit enter or click on the "Log In" button. If you have forgotten your password, simply click on the link on the Log In page that says: Forgot?".
I forgot my password, what do I do?
If you have forgotten your password you'll need to reset it. From the Log In box, click on the "Forgot?" link. You will need to type in the email address you use to log into this site) and click on the button. After resetting your password you will receive an email with a new, temporary password. Use this to log in.
How do I change my password or email address?
Any time you need to change your password or email address, please contact our circulation department at 256-259-1020 EXT. 242, Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and we will sort through the issue with you.
The site says my account is in use?
If you have received this error, when matching up an online account with a print subscription, it means your print subscription's account number is currently being used by another online account. This may have occurred if someone else in your household, or place of business has used the account number to access online content. Please contact our circulation department at 256-259-1020 EXT. 242, Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and we'll be happy to help.
It says "Unable to validate user profile information"?
This means our system can't locate either the account number associated with your last name, the last name associated with your account number or both. Please check you have entered your account number correctly and that you have typed in the last name on the account. If your subscription is for a business, or being mailed to an individual in a facility, then the "last name" may include a business name, or facility ID number.
You can check your bill to make sure the last name and account number is correct. If you continue to have this issue or cannot locate the correct information, then please contact our circulation department at 830-379-5441 EXT 215, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and we'll be happy to help.

How do I find older articles and photos?
Near the top of the page on the right you'll see a box labeled "Advanced Search." You can enter keywords in the box to search for. For example, if you want to find a story about Habitat for Humanity you can enter Habitat and humanity and articles and photos connected with those words will show in chronological order.
When is the website updated?
The website is updated throughout the day for breaking news and other events but the largest update happens around midnight when the newspaper is finished.
How can I comment?
At the bottom of each article and photo you'll find a text box where you can leave your comments and opinions. Please remember to follow the rules. We want a civil discussion.
