Scottsboro and Pisgah athletes are competing in the 2020 AHSAA Indoor Track and Field Championships today at Saturday at the Birmingham Crossplex.

Scottsboro was leading the Class 4A-5A boys division at press time Friday. Scottsboro was also close to the top spot in the 4A-5A girls division.

Here are the Class 4A-5A girls and boys divisions’ results for events that were completed prior to press time on Friday:

› Scottsboro's Hayden Judge wins the Class 4A-5A Boys 3200-meter run state championship (9:31.36) at the 2020 AHSAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. Teammate Cooper Atkins was the state runner-up (9:31.53).

› Scottsboro’s Rex Green won the Class 4A-5A Boys 800-meter run state championship with a time of 1:57.14. Teammate Hayden Judge was fifth (2:00.93).

› Scottsboro’s Isabella Noble posted a state runner-up finish in the Class 4A-5A Girls 3200-meter run with a new personal-record time of 11:48.60. Teammate Maddie Gossett finished eighth (12:26.17).

› Scottsboro’s Emma Hancock posted a seventh-place finish (30-08.25) in the Class 4A-5A Girls Triple Jump.
