Only the weather could stop the Scottsboro Swim Association’s Wet ‘n’ Wildcats Thursday night.
Weather cut Scottsboro’s meet with Sheffield short after Event 35, and the visitors were at less than full strength, but the home team was dominant while it lasted, posting a 200-54 victory.
Sheffield and Scottsboro met for the first time as dual meet opponents Thursday evening at the Rec*Com. The visitors from District 1 are the defending state champion in the mid-sized team group, whereas the District 2 Wet ‘n’ Wildcats placed 3rd in the large team group.
