› Quoting coach: “I am looking to build on the successful season we had last year. I have five returning runners who bring experience with them. There are new runners who are pressing hard to get in 5K shape. We had a guy transfer in this year who will help our boys team tremendously. The main differences that I have seen from our returners is that they know what to expect, they are learning how to train and build their endurance. Most of them are learning to love running.  It's exciting to see the growth from last year to the next.”

› Sectional outlook: “As a young program, we are still learning who are the tradition rich programs that have perennial state qualifiers. I hope to model their programs in methods of training and hopefully we can produce kids that will run at the elite levels. I respect all of the teams that we run against because they are teaching me a lot about coaching this sport.”
