The weather was the only thing that could stop the Scottsboro Swim Association Wet ‘n’ Wildcats Tuesday night.

SSA (3-0) ran its winning streak to three with a rain-shortened 236-116 win over the visiting Arab Riptide at the Rec*Com.

Race winners for the home team were Zachary Strogov, Aiden Goggans, Izzy Nelson, Ben Gossett, Tony Pereira, Maddie Gossett, Bethany Dugan, Ryder Linville, Cora White, Jordan Sosebee, Grayson Gattis, Paige Giles, Kyla Reichle, Katharyn Sanders, Lily Turlington, Maggie Ella Robbins, Olyvia Stone and Stephanie Bradbury.

Scoring points for Scottsboro were Ayden Mashburn, Morelia Calderon-Diaz, Arlen Parr, Makenna Worley, Maddy Childress, Dylan Phillips, Les White, Ava Kahler, Ansel Goggans, Kimberly Calderon-Diaz, Creed Wooden, Harrison Stone, Ashton Childress, Jake Vance, Abby Ray and Clay Giles.

The Wet ‘n’ Wildcats took 7 of the 10 Medley Relay races, several of which featured at-the-wire finishes.

Scottsboro will attempt to stretch their winning streak to four Thursday night against the visiting Guntersville Aquacats.
