Scottsboro recorded a fourth-place finish in the Class 5A Boys Golf State Tournament.
The Wildcats finished with a team score of 666 during the two-round tournament at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail’s Fighting Joe Course in Muscle Shoals on Tuesday.
Scottsboro finished in the team standings behind state champion St. Paul’s (596), state runner-up Russellville (624) and third-place Briarwood Christian (627).
The Wildcats shot a 329 in Monday’s first round before following that with a 337 in round two.
Matt Croft was Scottsboro’s top finisher, shooting a two-round 162 and placing 15th. He shot an 8-over par 80 on Monday and a 10-over 82 on Tuesday.
Kyle Price tied for 16th with a two-round 81-84-165 while Andrew Holman tied for 18th (86-80-166, John Austin Dolberry was 21st (82-91-173) and Davis Bostrom was 24th (106-109-215).
Brooks’ Justin Olive, who was playing as an individual qualifier, shot a two-round 6-under (68-70-138) to win the Class 5A individual state championship.
