Over 260 swimmers from Madison, Gadsden, Riverdale, Sheffield, Decatur, Tullahoma, Manchester, Florence and host Scottsboro converged upon the Rec*Com Saturday for the 10th Annual Valley Radiology Fall Splash. 

Among a surprisingly competitive field, the host Wet ‘n’ Wildcats came away with 17 victories in the 72 individual events.

Maggie Ella Robbins led the victorious swimmers for the home team by sweeping the 11-12 Girls 25 Free, 100 Free, 50 Breast and 50 Fly in addition to winning the Open 200 IM.  Robbins also had a new team record in the 25 Free.

Bethany Dugan was another hot swimmer for the Wildcats, posting victories in the 15-18 Girls 25 Free, 100 Back and 100 Breast, with the latter setting another new team record.

Kyle Vosen won the 15-18 Boys 25 Free and 50 Free, and also set new team marks in the 100 Back and 200 IM in narrow defeats to Alabama commit Andrey Tretyakov from Madison.

Zach Beason took first in the 15-18 Boys 100 Free and 100 Breast.

Also posting wins for the home team were Craft Sanders (8-Under Boys 25 Fly), Izzy Nelson (8-Under Girls 25 Breast), Arlen Parr (9-10 Boys 25 Free), Kimberly Calderon-Diaz (9-10 Girls 50 Fly) and Lily Turlington (9-10 Girls 50 Breast).  

Many other SSA swimmers scored points with top 8 finishes, including Jossy Boles, Morelia Calderon-Diaz, Baylie Giles, Zachary Strogov, Les White, Preston Worley, Amelia Armour, Caroline Sanders, Brylie Smart, Luke Armour, Christian Swain, Paige Giles, Abby Ray, Rebekah Riddle, Jessica Simpson, Diana Swain, Abram Peek, Jessica Vincent, Creed Wooden, Stephanie Bradbury and Cheyenne Vincent.

Also swimming well for the Wildcats were Eli Armour, Rue Smart, Taylor Guttridge, Cora White, Troy Reichle, Noelle Lee, Samara Cornelison, Bailey Smart, Will Rogers, Julia Arnold and Makenna Worley.
