Following last Thursday’s double dual victories over Fort Payne and Decatur, the Scottsboro Swim Association’s Wet ‘n’ Wildcats stepped outside of District 2 for their opponent Tuesday night.  

Visiting Florence of District 1 was no match for the Wet ‘n’ Wildcats, as the home team prevailed 542-133 at the Scottsboro Rec*Com.

Scottsboro won 45 of 64 individual events, paced by three-event sweeps by Ryder Linville, Baylie Giles, Cullen Roberts, Maggie Ella Robbins and Kyle Vosen.  Robbins and Vosen remained unbeaten for the summer.

Winners of two events each were Eli Armour, Arlen Parr, Amelia Armour, Lily Turlington, Paige Giles, Clay Giles, Bethany Dugan and Katharyn Sanders.  

Also victorious were Nina Gardner, Sydni Lee, Zach Strogov, Luke Armour, Brady Peek, Shelton Linville, Anna Leigh Gossett, Olyvia Stone, Jessica Vincent, Tony Pereira and Paige Megehee.

The Wildcats’ depth helped them win all 22 of the relay events.

Among the many swimmers scoring with second- and/or third-place finishes were Miles Hodges, Taylor Guttridge, Cora White, Keyton Allen, Dylan Phillips, Destiny Lewis, Linda Rudder, Joseph Gardner, Ayden Mashburn, Craft Sanders, Preston Worley, Kate Gomez, Alice Merck, George Boles, Aiden Goggans, Harrison Stone, Grayson Gattis, Jessica Simpson, Diana Swain, Gabe Lyle, John Sanders, Jake Vance, Sarah Vance, Staton Robbins, Will Rogers, Creed Wooden, Julia Arnold and Cheyenne Vincent.

Personal best times were turned in by Jayden Bradford, Wes Colus, Ady Banson, Shane Miley Edwards, Jacob Fanning, Eli Glass, Luke Lusk, Holder Benson, Jeremiah Fanning, Carter Hodges, Evan Sanders, Les White, Jossy Boles, Jake Benson, Ansel Goggans, Will Porch, Troy Reichle, Bentley Allen, Reese Edwards, Noelle Lee, Addison Thompson, Rebekah Riddle, Lilyan Robertson, Tanner Gossett, Abram Peek and Makenna Worley.
