Scottsboro prevailed 25-21, 25-21, 25-23, though head coach Patrick Kritner said the Wildcats’ effort was not as crisp as he would prefer.
“I didn't think we played a very clean match,” he said. “We had several errors. Our hitting was not good at all in the match. The positive was that the girls were able to pull out a victory on a night that we didn’t play well.”
Nhi Le had eight kills and 11 digs for Scottsboro while Abby Jones had six kills and nine blocks. Megan Vosen totaled 18 assists and Anna Lusk had 13 digs.
