The Scottsboro Swim Association Wet ‘n’ Wildcats hosted their 12th annual Sprint Medal Meet on Saturday, with visiting teams from Madison, Murfreesboro (Tennessee), Laverne (Tennessee), Decatur, Florence, Tullahoma (Tennessee), Birmingham, Gadsden and Sewanee (Tennessee) providing strong competition.
The home team answered the challenge with 13 individual event wins and a slew of second- and third-place finishes.
Maggie Ella Robbins led the way with a sweep of her five events, including a new team record in the 11-12 Girls 25-yard Freestyle.
Kyle Vosen had four wins in the 15-18 Boys age group. Also victorious for the Wildcats were Zachary Strogov, Arlen Parr, Lily Turlington and Tony Pereira.
