Scottsboro cross country head coach Luke Robinson has a vision of what is the perfect race for his runners.
“When we talk about the perfect race, we talk about being able to look at your teammates and say you gave everything of yourself, emptying the tank and leaving it all on the trail,” Robinson said. “I think both teams ran a perfect race [Thursday].”
More than 30 of Scottsboro’s 40 combined girls and boys runners set new personal-record times to help Scottsboro sweep the team titles at the Last Chance Invitational at SHS Thursday evening.
“When you ask everybody to run their best race and they do,” Robison said, “you can’t ask for anything better.”
